SENIOR SERVICES
Through its senior service programming, Community Alliance of Human Services
offers supports to assist seniors in remaining independent and in their homes.
Program components include:
- Trusting Hands Home Health
Care – the Agency’s fully licensed home care program serving
residents of Sullivan, lower Grafton, and western Merrimack Counties.
- Trusting Hands Resources for
Independent Living (THRIL) Program – designed to promote the
health, safety, and increased capabilities of seniors living in the Newport,
Claremont, and Charlestown communities
- Senior Housing Management
Services – Community Alliance
provides management services at the Maple Manor Complex in Newport. That
complex provides 40 units of independent housing for low-income seniors.

Transportation Services – Through its transportation services
Community Alliance provides an easy to use public transportation service for
the City of Claremont, and surrounding towns in Sullivan County. Services
include fixed routes running between Claremont, Newport, and Sunapee, as well
as charter services, and Dial-A-Ride services or seniors and persons with
disabilities who cannot access the fixed route.
