PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
What is it?
Community Transportation Services is an easy to use public transportation service for individuals who live in Sullivan County.
The services include:
Regular Routes - Regular routes are regularly scheduled stops at designated locations. The routes are available to the general public in the Newport and Claremont area. CATS provides connecting fixed route services between the two towns. Schedules are located at various locations, on the web, in our brochures, and through the bus drivers. If you are unable to access regular bus stops please call at least a day in advance to schedule a trip and the bus will deviate up to a 1/4 mile off the regular route to pick you up at your curb.
Dial-a-Ride- Demand response service is provided to seniors and disabled individuals in the greater Claremont area with a 24 hour advanced notice.
