PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
What is it?
Community Transportation Services is an easy to use public transportation service for individuals who live in Sullivan County.
The services include:
Fixed Routes- Fixed routes are regularly scheduled stops at designated locations. The routes are available to the general public in the Newport and Claremont area. CTS provides connecting fixed route services between the two towns. Schedules are located at various locations, on the web, in our brochures, and through the bus drivers.
Dial-a-Ride- Demand response service is provided to seniors and disabled individuals in the greater Claremont area with a 24 hour advanced notice.
Charters- Charters are available seven days a week, including evenings, to individuals, groups, and organizations. The service provides exclusive transportation to requested destinations.
