Formed in 1991, Community Alliance of Human Services is a private, not-for-profit organization providing a wide range of services to individuals and families in and around Sullivan County. Services are provided through six major service areas and intersect the family and the community through public and private partnerships.

CAHS Receives American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Funds

Community Alliance of Human Services is very pleased to report on funding it has received through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Our goal is to use these funds to support programs that benefit our transportation recipients, maximizing the benefit of ARRA funding.

ARRA funds totaling $119,400 were allocated to CAHS’ transportation program. CAHS received funds for computer software used for scheduling and dispatching, funds for tools and equipment that will allow our Agency to complete routine maintenance of our vehicles in-house, and funds to complete needed repairs to our transportation facility.

This award was based on an award to the State of New Hampshire by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) from their apportionment of ARRA funds.
